VESAF, NFP is an international humanitarian organization granted operating license No. 416/CNV-HD by the Department of Foreign Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam on February 8, 2018. With the purpose of improving the lives of the beneficiaries facing difficult circumstances in Vietnam, VESAF has implemented many meaningful programs such as education programs, credit support, integrated rural development, and emergency relief in Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam. Nam, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, Ca Mau, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, and Tien Giang.
The VESAF scholarship program has been implemented since 2018 with Hearts For Hue for pupils and students with the scholarship value of 100 USD to 400 USD per year. The scholarship is aimed at pupils/ students who meet the following criteria: (a) good and laborious students; (b) good conduct; (c) coming from disadvantaged families or confronting financial and medical difficulties.
In this academic year 2023-2024, we are delighted to announce that VESAF, NFP has supported 188 students from primary school to university with a total fund of $42.950, as follows:
- Xuan Loc Primary School: 40 students
- Vinh Phu Secondary School: 40 students
- Ha Trung High School: 30 students
- Hue University: 42 students
- Da Nang University: 36 students
