The main topic of training is “Personal hygienic practices for students and how to prevent the spread of infectious disease, especially Covid 19”. The training is under the guidance of Dr. Dao Nguyen Dieu Trang from Hue University of Medical and Pharmacy. Those who participated in the training included the representative of Huong Tra Department of Education and Training, Hearts for Hue, and teachers of 10 primary schools.
The training started with a discussion among the local teachers about the challenges that students have been facing in school, particularly in the Covid 19 outbreak.
In the training, Mrs. Trang delivered a range of practical solutions to cope with the challenges which are as followed:
– How to prevent the spread of infectious disease, especially Covid 19 (recognize symptoms and how to prevent)
– How to take care of yourself and Covid Patients at home
– Follow handwashing steps using the WHO technique
– The rules and guidance for facemasks (how to put on and remove facemask)
As planned, those teachers will deliver the same training to 1000 students in their primary schools in the near future.
At the moment, the construction of 10 handwashing stations was accomplished and can put into operation. Hearts for Hue would like to thanks PiCCA for your tremendous contribution to the local schools in Hue, Vietnam.
