The Ngay Mai Scholarship program, initiated in 2018 by Mr. Agustin Moratille and his Spanish friends in collaboration with Hearts for Hue, aims to empower disadvantaged students in Xuan Loc, Phu Gia, Hương Văn, Quang Phu communes, Hương Vân ward, and Hue city of Thua Thien Hue province. Within the past 7 years, 109 less fortunate students and their families have received comprehensive support from the program, including scholarships, tablets, food packages, and other meaningful gifts.
The scholarships ranging from 2 to 5 million VND per year have been awarded to students based on their grades and schools. Let’s have a look at program milestones during the past 7 years.
– Total funding expensed: 1,470,417,900 VND
– Number of scholarships awarded: 458 scholarships
– Number of tablets distributed: over 60 tablets benefit 85 students.
In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Ngay Mai Scholarship program continues to make a difference by distributing 70 scholarships, along with 5 tablets to new students in Quang Phu commune.
