Since 2018, Ngay Mai scholarship, sponsored by Mr. Agustin Moratille and his friends, has been collaborating with Hearts for Hue to assist poor students in their education in Thua Thien Hue province. Within the past 6 years, 99 less fortunate children have received the scholarships ranging from 2 million VND to 2.5 million VND per year, depending on their grades.
In this academic year 2023-2024, the scholarships have been awarded to 66 students from primary school to high school in Huong Van, Phu Gia, Xuan Loc, Huong Van, and Hue city with the total fund of 167.800.000 VND.
This year, Mr. Agustin also provided 5 tablets to five students in Huong Van to support their online study. Since 2018, 49 tablets have been given to the children in total, enabling them to access the online learning materials.
Especially, as the Mid-Autumn Festival is coming, Mr. Agustin also gave the students some cakes as gifts to wish them a happy holiday.
