Since 2018 Ngay Mai Scholarships has been cooperating with Hearts for Hue to seek to focus on the education of children from disadvantaged families in Thua Thien Hue. Education is the key to a brighter future. We strongly believe that supporting education is a way to change the lives of poverty. That is why we prioritize focusing on the education of children from disadvantaged families.
Thanks to donations from individual donors in Spain and individual international volunteers visiting Vietnam, in the academic year 2022 – 2023, the program has been supporting 71 scholarships for disadvantaged students of Hue city and rural commune of Hue such as Hương Văn, Hương Vân, Phú Gia, and Xuân Lộc. The scholarship is about 2-2.5 million dong/per school year/for each student which aims to cover the basic school costs and more.
Moreover, the Ngay Mai scholarship also provided cash gifts to 21 students in Oct 2022 and Tet gifts for 34 families including food packages and cash in Dec 2022. The total budget for these activities is 33 million dongs. It is bright that this gift can help these families have a warm and happy Tet!
