On March 31st to April 1st, Hearts for Hue welcomed the Loving Work Foundation to Vietnam to carry out their humanitarian program, aimed at nurturing friendships and improving the infrastructure of Nguyen Huu Da Secondary School. This two-day program was an outstanding success and provided a valuable experience for both the Loving Work Foundation and the students and teachers of Nguyen Huu Da Secondary School.

Nguyen Huu Da Secondary School is situated in the Huong Tra District of Thua Thien Hue province. Despite being a reputable educational institution, the school has been struggling with maintaining its infrastructure, including its doors, due to budget constraints. Many of the school’s facilities were in dire need of repair, and the doors were no exception.
Recognizing the need to improve the infrastructure of Nguyen Huu Da Secondary School, the Loving Work Foundation, in collaboration with Hearts for Hue, organized a door-painting project as part of their humanitarian program. Over the course of two days, the team tirelessly worked to paint the doors of the school, providing them with a much-needed upgrade. The transformation was significant, and the students and teachers were overjoyed with the results. The school now has a more welcoming and conducive learning environment, allowing students to focus better on their studies.
In addition to the door-painting project, members of the Loving Work Foundation also took the opportunity to engage with the students at Nguyen Huu Da Secondary School. The team organized English teaching sessions to help improve the students’ language skills and provide a platform for cultural exchange. The students were enthusiastic and grateful for the chance to practice their English and learn about different cultures. The joy and excitement can be seen through the photos in the slide below.
Through this project, the Loving Work Foundation demonstrated its commitment to making a positive impact in the local community. This humanitarian program was a wonderful example of how different organizations can come together to support a common cause. We believe that with this collaborative effort, we can make a significant impact in improving the lives of those in need in Thua Thien Hue province.
