On 10th September, Hearts for Hue has taken a first step of the project “Promoting the hygiene and sanitation in Quang Nham Commune” which is sponsored by PiCCA (Aus).
In collaboration with the People’s Committee of Quang Nham Commune, Hearts For Hue conducted a comprehensive survey of some households in Quang Nham. The main purpose of survey is to find out 15 households which are qualified to the project. The standards of households to be chosen are:
- Commit to attend all project activities including meetings and trainings
- Able to provide a financial or labor support to the construction of new latrine
- Being as a disadvantaged household of a commune
As planned, a training session on how to build an appropriate latrine will be expected to organize on 17th September.
