Program Overview:
According to the statistics of Thua Thien Hue’s Department of Labour, Invalid and Society, in 2010 there are about 26.479  persons with disabilities and their living condition are facing many difficulties, especially the means of transport.  In this situation, Hearts For Hue in collaboration with DOVE fund, PET international has implemented the P.E.T carts program for persons with disabilities with the following activities:

1/ Surveying and listing persons with disabilities in need of help;

2/ Submitting to DOVE fund and PET international to ship the PET carts from US to Vietnam;

3/ Transporting PET carts from Da Nang port to Hue and distributing for the persons with disabilities

Results of  the program:

–  1/2013: Distributed 140 PET carts for 140 persons with disabilities in Thua Thien Hue.

– 1/2014: Distributed 175 PET carts for 175 persons with disabilities in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Tri

-7/2014: Distributed 173 PET carts for 173 persons with disabilities in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Tri

-1/2016: Distributed 142 PET carts for 142 persons with disabilities in Thua Thien Hue.

-3/2018: Distributed 70 PET carts for 70 persons with disabilities in A Luoi.
