Hearts for Hue, in partnership with local authorities and schools, successfully implemented a scholarship program for disabled, disadvantaged students, and those with parents suffering from disabilities. The program, generously sponsored by Vietbay Teens, provided essential financial support to 65 students in Huong Van ward and Quang Phu commune.
Each scholarship recipient received a grant of 2.5 million VND, allocated towards tuition fees, school supplies, insurance, and other educational expenses. The rest of the money was provided in cash to directly support students’ needs.
By distributing the scholarships at the start of the new academic year, we aimed to empower students and provide them with the necessary resources to pursue their education. The initiative is expected to significantly boost their motivation and create a more equitable learning environment.
