Under the sponsorship of VESAF, NFP, Hearts For Hue has supported scholarships for 156 underprivileged students from Hue University, Vinh Phu Secondary School, Ha Trung Highschool and Xuan Loc Elementary School of the 2020 – 2021 academic year. These students, all of whom are from families experiencing severe financial and/or medical hardship, were awarded the scholarships for their strong academic performance.
The VESAF Scholarship Program 2020 -2021 sponsors 156 students who are qualify with the following criteria: Good and laborious students (a), good conduct (b), coming from disadvantaged families or confronting financial and medical difficulties (c), and are residing in Thua Thien Hue or coming from Quang Nam province (d). The value of each scholarship is as following:
Elementary school: 50 USD per student per year
Secondary school: 100 USD per student per year
High school: 125 USD per student per year
University: 300 USD per student per year
More importantly, students will be considered to continue to receive the scholarships for next year based on their academic achievement. The total amount of the VESAF scholarship program in 2020 – 2021 is 21.050 USD.
The VESAF, NFP is a non -profit organization with the main mission of providing educational and social assistance to impoverished communities in Vietnam. The organization was established in the State of Illinois on 24th October 2014 and was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam with the working permit No. 416 / CNV-HD dated on 8th February 2018
