On July 2nd and 11th, four members of the Tuong Laï team visited 21 families participating in the microfinance program in Quang Phu commune. The purpose of these visits was to see how the fund they collected has benefited the recipients and impacted their lives.
The microfinance program aims to promote economic sustainability in low-income communities, enhance women’s status and equality, and positively impact child welfare in these communities. Thanks to Tuong Laï’s partnership since 2018, Hearts for Hue has been able to provide microfinance loans and financial management training courses to households every year.
In the coming days, Tuong Laï members will also visit the social center program and the latrine program to learn more about Hearts for Hue’s various projects and their positive impact on disadvantaged communities.
