Continuing the training session of the GOAT RAISING PROJECT FOR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY AGENT ORANGE IN QUANG NHAM, VIETNAM, on April 5, 2024, Hearts for Hue collaborated with Quang Nham commune’s People’s Committee and the Goat Raising Club to organize the second training course for 25 AO families.
The training led by Prof. Nguyen Xuan Ba covered the following contents:
- Assessment of the goat shelter construction
- Feed and techniques for developing and processing goat feed
- Breeding goats
- Techniques for raising and caring for reproductive goats
- Disease prevention for goats
- Practice processing and preserving green food for goats using the silage method
In the next few weeks, another training will be conducted on topics including common diseases, methods of prevention and treatment, and methods of collecting and treating waste in goats for the whole 60 participants of the program.
