From July 17th to 19th, the four members of Tuong Laï participated in a new construction project where they helped local workers in renovating the roof and painting the walls of a poor lady’s house.
Ms. Tran Thi Dung, a low income 76 years-old woman living alone in Quang Phu commune, had seen her house deteriorate significantly over the years. The condition had worsened to the point where the roof leaked water during storms and heavy rains.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Tuong Laï members, Hearts for Hue, local workers, and Women’s Union, the renovation was completed in just three days.

On July 19th, everyone gathered to celebrate this remarkable achievement. Ms. Tran Thi Dung expressed her deep gratitude for the help she received, which will now allow her to live a more comfortable life.
In the remaining days of the project, the Tuong Laï team will have some community engagement activities, including visiting Hearts for Hue’s programs.
