On April 18, 2024, Hearts for Hue delightedly welcomed 2 teachers and 15 students from Hastings Christian School (New Zealand) to Huong Toan Primary School. The program included painting the door and window system and teaching English to students.
Huong Toan primary school is located in a poor rural area of Thua Thien Hue province, which has been degraded. Hence, the group helped to refurbish the school by repainting the doors and windows of two two-storey buildings.
Moreover, the students from Hastings Christian School also spent time teaching English to children there. They had a great time and made a lot of memories together.
