EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES SUPPORT FOR KINDERGARTEN AFFECTED BY THE FLOOD
Due to the affection of the disaster, a range of kindergarten’s facilities was submerged by floodwater from 1,5m – 2m. As a consequence, all the kindergarten materials and equipment are badly damaged such as shelves, children’s toys and games, books, chairs, desks and so on. They were made from plywood which is really difficult to be protected.
Realizing the difficulties that the kindergartens have been facing, Hearts For Hue has taken actions to improve the educational facilities to several kindergartens as the following details:
– 10 bookshelves and school supplies to Huong Phong Kindergarten sponsored by the Vietnamese Community in Finland with total fund of 27 million
– 20 kindergarten shelves and 04 kindergarten cabinets sponsored by The DOVE Fund with the total fund of 68 million
– 70 kindergarten beds to Huong Van Kindergarten and 26 kindergarten beds to Sao Mai 2 Kindergarten from Tam Bao Pagoda, Louisiana State, U.S
– 20 kindergarten beds in Sao Mai 1 Kindergarten which sponsored by Cloud Nine 5 (Singapore)
– 17 kindergarten beds for Huong Tho School which is sponsored by the international and domestic donors
Currently, there are a range of kindergartens have been in demand for improving the facilities, Hearts for Hue will try its best to assist these school in improving their facilities.
