COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAME SUPPORTS BY LOVING WORK FOUNDATION IN HUE, VIETNAM

During their visit to Huế, the Loving Work Foundation (USA) collaborated with the Hearts For Hue Fund and the Quảng Phú Commune Women’s Union to implement a project aimed at building restrooms and renovating homes for two disadvantaged households: Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Gái’s family and Mr. Trần Công Thương’s family.

The project was successfully carried out on March 10-11, 2025, bringing meaningful improvements to both families. Mr. Trần Công Thương’s family, classified as near-poor, relies mainly on selling lottery tickets for a living. Their house was in poor condition, with damp and moldy walls during the rainy season, posing health risks. With support from the Hearts for Hue and the Loving Work Foundation, the house was repainted and repaired, providing a safer and healthier living environment.

Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Gái’s household consists of four members, including her brother, who was born deaf and mute. The family faced significant challenges in daily life, particularly due to the lack of a restroom. Upon the recommendation of the Quảng Phú Commune Women’s Union, the Hearts for Hue and the Loving Work Foundation stepped in to build a new restroom, greatly improving their living conditions.

The families expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the supporting organizations. Moving forward, the Hearts for Hue remains committed to launching more initiatives to support disadvantaged households in the community.
