On this morning, July 15, 2024, Hearts for Hue collaborated with the People’s Committee of Quang Phu commune to present the Ngay Mai scholarship to seven students from primary to high school. All of them have had good results in the past academic year and come from poor households in the commune.
Since 2018, the Ngay Mai scholarship, sponsored by Mr. Agustin Moratille and his friends, has been collaborating with Hearts for Hue to assist poor students in their education in Thua Thien Hue province. Each scholarship ranges from 2 million VND to 2.5 million VND per year, depending on their grades.
Especially, 5 students at secondary school also received tablets through the “A tablet for each family” initiative. Mr. Aguistin hopes the tablets can assist the students in their studying and enable them to get access to further information and other great sources of learning materials.
In the next few weeks, Ngay Mai Scholarship is planned to visit other areas in Thua Thien Hue province to distribute scholarships for the students to get well-prepared for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025.
