The beautiful imperial city Hue has been hit by a disastrous flood from the 15th November and still ongoing. The entire province evacuated 900 households with nearly 2,300 people out of dangerous flood areas. The Huong Van and Quang Phu communes are still flooded up to 1.5 metres deep causing major difficulties and disruption to the lives of people in the province.
Hearts For Hue, wholeheartedly would like to call for a donation from the community who loves Vietnam, to support the rebuilding of the people’s livelihoods. We will aim to support 300 households in the Huong Van and Quang Phu communes. A small donation could to provide families and communities with basic necessities: rice, instant noodles and spices, etc. Which could help sustain a typical household for one week. Around 500.000 VND (20 USD) could help support a vulnerable family during this time.
