The handwashing stations have launched to fight COVID-19 supported by the DOVE FUND (USA)

Project name: Improvement of the handwashing stations and personal hygiene practices for the pupils at primary schools in Quang Dien District, Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam

Location: 12 primary schools in Quang Dien District, Thua Thien Hue, Viet nam

Project time: 2021-2022

Project Objectives:

• Increase awareness of personal hygiene and Covid19 respond and prevention for pupils and teachers in the schooling environment
• Improve the hygiene facilities for primary schools in Quang Dien, Thua Thien Hue province.

Project Activities:

• Building 8 doubled handwashing stations and 8 single handwashing stations for 12 primary schools in Quang Dien
• Training courses on personal hygienic practices and how to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 for  24 teachers and over 1.200 pupils in 12 primary schools
