The coronavirus continues to spread in Vietnam with over 645.640 confirmed cases according to the Ministry of Health (https://covid19.gov.vn/) updated by September 2021. The fact shows that a sheer volume of people has fallen into unemployment and non-income.
Under the sponsorship of VESAF, Hearts for Hue in collaboration with Thua Thien Hue Foreign Affair Department provided timely assistance for disadvantaged people through the distribution of allowance. The main beneficiaries are the underprivileged street vendors, cyclo riders, and lottery ticket sellers who have suffered from long term effects of COVID 19.
On 15th September 2021, Hearts for Hue implemented several distributions in 5 locations for 150 families, each family received an allowance of 500,000 DVN.

– Đông Ba Ward, Hue City: 40 families
– Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City: 40 families
– Huong Van Commune, Huong Tra Town: 30 families
