The VESAF, NFP is a non -profit organization with the main mission of providing educational and social assistance to impoverished communities in Vietnam. The organization was established in the State of Illinois on 24th October 2014 and was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam with the working permit No. 416 / CNV-HD dated on 8th February 2018.
Since 2018, VESAF NFP in collaboration with Hearts For Hue and Hue’s University has sponsored students who are qualified with the following criteria: Good and laborious students, good conduct, coming from disadvantaged families or confronting financial difficulties , and are residing in Thua Thien Hue or coming from Quang Nam province. The value of the scholarship is 300-400 USD each year. More importantly, students will be considered to continue to receive the scholarships for next year based on their academic achievement.
Mr Nguyen Van Tri is one of 61 studios students who were awarded VESAF Scholarship. Tri was born and grew up in Thua Thien Hue’s outskirts. His family has been facing a range of difficulties in their daily life, especially in the COVID pandemic. Tri had to find a part-time job to earn a living as well as support his school fee. Fortunately, under the sponsorship of VESAF, NFP, Tri has been a recipient of VESAF Scholarship since 2018. A month ago, Tri graduated from Hue University of Medical and Pharmacy. Recently, Tri wrote a Thank You Letter to express his deep gratitude to VESAF. The letter contains the sincere and warm words which motivate Hearts for Hue to continue implementing the VESAF Scholarship in 2021 – 2022.
