Since July 2023, under the sponsorship of the PiCCA (Australia), Hearts for Hue, in collaboration with Quang Nham People’s Committee, has been implementing the project “The goat raising program for the families affected by Agent Orange in Quang Nham, A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam”
This project aimed to improve the living standards of 60 households affected by Agent Orange at Quang Nham Commune. After 3 months, several activities have been carried out as follows:
From August 26 to October 10, 35 pregnant goats were distributed to the first 35 families of the project. Particularly, those goats have given birth to 9 baby goats in total.
From November 2023 to February 2024, Hearts for Hue, in collaboration with the Goat Raising Club, will organize other activities, including goat distribution to the other 25 households in the project. More specifically, the first-born goat (12 kg) from the goats of the 35 families will be given to the 25 households.
