The handwashing stations have launched to fight COVID-19 supported by the PiCCA (AUS) and The Phillips Foundation (AUS)

Project name: Improvement of the handwashing stations and personal hygiene practices for the pupils at primary schools in Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam.

Location: 10 primary schools in Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue, VietNam.

Donor: The PiCCA and The Phillips Foundation (AUS)

Project time: 2021-2022

Project Objectives:

  • Improve the hygiene facilities for primary schools in Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue province.
  • Increase awareness of personal hygiene and Covid19 respond and prevention for pupils and teachers in the schooling environment.

Project Activities:

  • Building 10 handwashing stations for 10 primary schools in Phu Vang District.
  • Training courses on personal hygienic practices and how to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 for  20 teachers and over 1.000 pupils in 10 primary schools.
