Livelihood Support for People with Disabilities through the Chicken Raising Program in Phu Vang and Huong Tra Communes, Hue City

As part of the project “Improving the Livelihoods of Families with Disabilities through Chicken Raising and Scholarships”, on June 24 and July 24, Hearts for Hue in collaboration with local authorities, successfully distributed breeding chickens to 24 households with disabilities. Support for Children and People with Disabilities through the Scholarship Program in Huong Tra Ward, Phu Vang Commune, Dan Dien Commune and Thuong Long Commune, Hue City

From March to April 2025, Hearts for Hue collaborated with local authorities in several communes and schools across Hue City to conduct home visits and assessments for over 100 students. VietBay Teens’s chicken coops Program bring income and hope to families with disabilities in Hue city, Vietnam

Recently, Hearts for Hue, in collaboration with local partners, implemented a livelihood improvement program for families with disabilities through a chicken-raising model funded by VIETBAY and VIETBAY TEENS. Launched in May 2025, the program included the construction of 24 chicken coops and the provision of 1,200 chickens, along with feed, equipment, and veterinary medicine for 24 households.
