From May 15 to 16, Hearts for Huế had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) to Quang Thai Kindergarten in Quang Dien District for a community program survey.
This group of research students from NUS conducted an on-site assessment of the space, current infrastructure conditions, and the specific needs and wishes of the kindergarten. The purpose of the survey is to help develop a plan to install public handwashing stations within the kindergarten’s playground area, aiming to improve hygiene and health for the young children.
The event took place in a joyful and successful atmosphere, thanks to the warm and enthusiastic support from the staff and leadership of Quang Thai Kindergarten. This marks an important first step in future community-based collaborations between international students and the local community.
Hearts for Hue team.
