Concordia International School Hanoi Continue Partnership with Hearts for Hue in Community Support Program

From September 22 to 24, Hearts for Hue collaborated with Vietnam Experience and Concordia International School Hanoi to organize a volunteer program for 20 students in Dan Dien Commune, Hue City.

Quang Loi Kindergarten, located in Dan Dien Commune, is one of the most disadvantaged schools in the area, providing care and education for children aged 1 to 5, most of whom come from fishing families. Establishing a vegetable garden to improve children’s meals has long been beyond the capacity of both the school and the parents.

At the same time, Ms. Lan’s family, one of the low-income households in the commune, relies mainly on farming and livestock raising. However, the lack of proper poultry housing has led to low productivity and environmental pollution. Over the course of three days, the volunteer group successfully built a vegetable garden for the kindergarten and a chicken coop for Ms. Lan’s family, along with providing 50 chicks, feed, and veterinary medicine to support the raising process.

This marks the third year that Concordia International School Hanoi has partnered with Hearts for Hue in collaboration with Vietnam Experience Company to carry out this meaningful program, bringing practical benefits to the local community.
