On 25th September 2025, Hearts for Hue, in collaboration with Hoa Mi 2 Kindergarten and the Women’s Union of Dan Dien Commune, organized a volunteer activity for 32 students and teachers from St Paul’s College, Australia at Hoa Mi 2 Kindergarten.
Hoa Mi 2 Kindergarten provides care and education for children aged 1 to 5, most of whom come from farming families in Dan Dien Commune. Many of these families face difficult circumstances, making it challenging to contribute financially to projects such as building a school vegetable garden. Therefore, the support from St Paul’s students—including soil for planting and an irrigation system—was highly practical, helping the school to provide fresh vegetables for the children’s meals and offering them a space to experience and learn essential life skills.
With the enthusiastic support of the teachers and the active participation of the St Paul’s College students, the garden beds were successfully filled with soil and planted with vegetables.
