On March 26th, Hearts for Hue collaborated with Wide Eyed Pupils Travel Company to organize an event for students from Oxbridge Academy. The goal was to build a chicken coop and provide poultry to the family of Mr. Nguyễn Viết Toàn, a person with disabilities living in Phú Gia Commune, Phú Vang District, Hue City.
The volunteer group, consisting of 14 students and 3 teachers from Oxbridge Academy (USA), along with local construction workers, successfully completed the 12m² chicken coop and provided 50 chickens, along with feed and veterinary supplies to Mr. Toàn’s family.
Hearts for Hue will continue to monitor and support Mr. Toàn’s family with livestock care and plans for future expansion of their poultry farm. On behalf of the local community, we would like to sincerely thank Wide Eyed Pupils Travel Company, the staff and students of Oxbridge Academy, and the Phú Gia Commune People’s Committee for their generous donations and support of this program.
