Chicken coop program for poor families under the support of the Anglo-Chinese School (International) from Singapore.

From 25th to 27th May, Hearts for Hue organized a community service event for students of the Anglo-Chinese School (International) from Singapore. The goal was to build three chicken coops and provide poultry to three families, including Ms. Trần Thị Chiến, Ms. Trương Thị Gái, and Ms. Đỗ Thị Ngờ. These are households facing significant difficulties in life and are hoping to have a chicken coop and raise chickens as a means of livelihood.

“Through this experience we have truly learnt the value of sincerity and kindness. Thank you for opening not just your doors, but also our hearts” – Students of ACSI

The volunteer group, consisting of 39 students and 5 teachers from Anglo-Chinese School (International), along with local construction workers, completed three 12m² chicken coops and provided 150 chickens for three households, along with feed and veterinary supplies to the families.

Hearts for Hue will continue to monitor and support three families with livestock care and plans for future expansion of their poultry farm. On behalf of the local community, we would like to sincerely thank the teachers and students of the Anglo-Chinese School and the Quang Phu Women’s Union for their generous donations and support of this program.
