First of all, Hearts For Hue would like to send our warmest greetings and best wishes to all of you and express our sincere thanks for your support of disadvantaged people in Vietnam. 

We would like to share with you an overview of what our organization was doing from May to June  2019

Please take a look at our project highlights below:

Project Vietnam: Culture and Service

Wide Eyed Tours is a  travel operator that offers volunteering opportunities to students. They operate throughout the world, and since November 2018 has been working with Hearts for Hue to add a volunteering component to their Vietnam tour.

In June 2019, Wide Eyed Tours in collaboration with Hearts For Hue organized a project called Vietnam: Culture and Service under the sponsorship of Victoria Shanghai Academy (Hong Kong). See more … 

 

 

We Are Bamboo June: Mr Dang Van Quang

According to the local authority, Mr Đặng Văn Quang’s (44 years old) household is one of the poorest families in Huong Van Commune, Huong Tra. He is a deaf person who is working as a farmer along with his wife Ms Tuyen (46 years old). They both generate income from raising chickens, buffalos and pigs. Sometimes, Mr Quang works as a construction worker when his health permits. See more … 

 

 

 

The people with disabilities found their happiness in raising chicken

Mr Le Van Khe is a participant in the PiCCA and H4H chicken- raising project in Vinh Phu,Vietnam. The project aims to improve the quality of life and livelihood opportunities for people with disabilities through a program developing chicken raising.

Mr Le Van Khe suffers from a mental illness and has been unable to maintain the kind of steady work that would help him make a living. He has been a part of the chicken-raising project in Vinh Phu Community (Vietnam) sponsored by PiCCA Australia since 2018. See more…
